Hi! I’m Ivan. Welcome to my blog about Software Development, DevOps, tech, and more.
I started this blog to solidify my learning and share knowledge. Writing about new concepts helps clarify my understanding and highlights areas I need to improve. That’s the goal! Let’s see how it goes.
About Me
I began my education in Economics, but it never sparked my passion. After graduating, I faced a crossroads: continue in Economics or pursue something I genuinely enjoy.
I’ve always loved computers and regretted not studying IT from the start. So, I pursued a master’s degree in Software Development, which I thoroughly enjoyed and excelled in. This set me on my path to becoming a developer. Through my work, I discovered my passion for DevOps, and I’ve been predominantly working in this field ever since.
Along the way, I noticed that many technical problems can be tackled by anyone with basic IT knowledge. These days, knowing how to navigate Stack Overflow and leverage AI tools can make you seem proficient. However, this often leads to questionable solutions and poor practices. So, how do you effectively solve IT problems?
Honestly, I’m still figuring it out and there is more than one answer. I believe that solving technical problems is just one aspect of being a good IT professional. It’s about more than finding solutions; it’s about communicating effectively, listening, expressing thoughts, being compassionate and patient, sharing knowledge, having an insatiable hunger for learning, and loving problem-solving. There’s always something new to learn and improve upon.
That’s a bit about me. I hope you find useful insights in my blog.
